คนแต่งหนังสือเล่มนี้ อ้างว่าเป็น "เจ้าของลิขสิทธิ์" ปรากฏหรา อ่านชัดเจน
ปัญหาคือ ลิขสิทธิ์อะไร

หนังสือนี้ เป็นสมุดภาพ ดังนั้นลิขสิทธิ์คงจะรวมเอารูปในหนังสือกระมัง
ถ้าเปป็นเช่นนั้น ก็ใช้คำว่า ลิขสิทธิ์กับหนังสือทั้งเล่มไม่ได้
เพราะไม่ได้รับหนังสือมอบลิขสิทธิ์จากผู้ถ่ายรูปแต่อย่างใด

ยิ่งกว่านั้น รูปทั้งหมดสร้างในปี 2448 (รศ.123)
และเจ้าของผลงาน เสียชีวิตมาแล้ว เกิน 50 ปี
ผลงานทั้งหมด จึงพ้นจากกฏหมายลิขสิทธิ์ไทยโดยสมบูรณ์

ผมเองเคยเจอการตีขลุม อ้างลิขสิทธิ์แบบนี้มาก่อน
นักสะสมคนหนึ่ง อ้างว่าเขาเป็นเจ้าของลิขสิทธิ์รูปถ่ายโบราณที่ใช้ศึกษากัน
นี่เป็นการตู่อย่างน่ากังขา

เขาคงไม่ทราบความแตกต่างระหว่าง กรรมสิทธิ์ กับ ลิขสิทธิ์

เพิ่งรู้ว่าเพลงนี้มาจาก Rachmaninoff 
public domain ของแต่ละประเทศก็ไม่เหมือนกันอีก  ต้นทุนเพลงนี้มันซับซ้อนจริงๆครับ

น่าจะเข้าใจผิดครับ ดนตรีงดงามแบบรัคฯ แต่ไม่ใช่รัคฯ ครับ

เจ้าตัวอธิบายไว้ว่า....
"The song started with the solo. It started 4 bars at a time.
Eventually, over a period of 2 months, that entire interlude had been written.
Then my quest was to put this in the middle of an actual song.
Then it was a matter of trying to figure out what kind of song and how could I do it.
I was listening to Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano concerto (written in 1901) and I heard the melody which I used for the verse.
Then I needed a chorus. I went back and listened to a song that I had written in 1973 called 'Let's Pretend' for the Raspberries. I just took those notes and took it from there. I thought, ''Let's Pretend' was a nice melody.' The song didn't go quite as far as I thought it should have. I'll go back and steal from myself for this."
